Help Fight Hunger in Bergen County
On Sunday, June 14, the Jewish Family Service of Bergen and North Hudson (JFS) will hold its fifth annual Wheels for Meals at the Jewish Home at Rockleigh. A Ride to Fight Hunger ride/walk event raises funds to support key JFS initiatives that fight hunger in Bergen County.
There are a number of routes available including a 50 mile, a new 35 mile, 25 mile, 10 mile and 3 mile ride. Non-riders may participate in a casual walk.
This year, event coordinators are expecting more than 500 riders and are hoping to raise over $150,000. That would be the most successful event yet. To learn more about the event or to register, go to: www.ridetofighthunger.com
