Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern NJ to Honor Goodman Family

(Courtesy of JFCS) Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey (JFCS) will honor the Goodman family (Lawrence, z”l and Rosalyn Goodman, David and Hope Goodman, Caryn Goodman and Mitchell Caplan, Mindy and Jason Sickle) at its annual celebration to be held at the Alpine Country Club on Sunday, November 13.

The Goodman family has been committed to JFCS for the past 50 years, working to ensure that northern New Jersey has a safety net it can rely on. Larry, z”l and Roz Goodman laid the foundation for the entire Goodman family to follow as dedicated, proactive advocates for the organization. The family’s indelible impact on JFCS and the broader community will be evident for many generations.

“For over five decades, my family has been involved as volunteers and lay leaders at JFCS. We are committed to this organization based on a profound desire to help those in need,” said David Goodman, member of the JFCS board of directors. “The range of services delivered in a caring way is truly extraordinary. So many more people are struggling right now in innumerable ways. For them, JFCS is the very definition of a safety net.”

Proceeds from the celebration will go toward supporting the wide variety of social and mental health services that JFCS provides the community. These services include customized therapy options, a kosher food pantry, kosher meals on wheels, services for older adults, programming for Holocaust survivors, career services, case management services, and emergency financial assistance.

Please join JFCS on November 13 as it thanks the Goodman family for their continued support of the JFCS mission of empowering people and transforming lives.
