The first graders had an amazing adventure at the Tenafly Nature Center! They learned about the pond and how it was recently expanded. They got their hands dirty exploring the muck. They found many different animal species that they looked at under magnifying glasses. They even got a quick hello from a local snapping turtle and a bullfrog! They also got to learn about animal adaptation and why different animals have different traits. It was a beautiful day and they had an amazing time learning and exploring.
