This past Shabbat, over 400 members of the MDS family gathered for a first of its kind, community-wide Shabbat program. Students and their families davened alongside their rabbeim, morot and friends for Kabbalat Shabbat, and Shabbat continued with inspiring Torah and candy-filled middle school and alumni oneg, parent-child learning and a magical performance for early childhood. Faculty bonded with their colleagues and met each other’s families during an intimate and special faculty Friday night dinner. The community came together for a delicious seuda shelishit and spiritual ruach-filled musical Havdala. Everyone truly felt the warmth of MDS!
