After a thrilling 13-11 victory in Week 1, the 9u Teaneck Travel team went on the road to take on Ramsey, looking for their second victory of the fall season.
Ramsey started the scoring with a run in the bottom of the 1st, but Teaneck showed great toughness by responding with two runs in the top of the second, to take a 2-1 lead. Teaneck then scored two more runs in the third inning and four runs in the 4th to take a commanding 8-1 lead. After Ramsey scored two runs in the bottom of the 4th, Teaneck responded by scoring three more runs in the fifth inning and one more in the 6th, leading to a 12-3 victory.
Jared Reich (2 hits), Liev Wolin, Sam Wartelsky (2 RBI), Ezra Berkowitz and Rami Knapp each scored 2 runs. Noam Eckman and Akiva Rotenberg each had RBIs. Rafi Wall stole two bases and caught five strong innings. Gavi Greenspan contributed with solid defense in the outfield. Liev Wolin pitched four strong innings, striking out seven batters. Noam Eckman pitched two shutout innings, striking out four batters.
