As part of their “Names, Not Numbers©” program, WDS eighth graders took a meaningful trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage. They received a guided tour exploring the timeline and key events of the Holocaust, deepening their understanding of this pivotal chapter in history. The day continued with an inspiring artifacts workshop led by Dr. Paul Radensky, the museum’s director of Education. Students examined artifacts of resistance, learning how courage and resilience shone even during dark times. It was a meaningful experience for all and an important part of the “Names, Not Numbers©” learning experience.
