TABC announced its new executive director, Michael Grad. Grad joins the school with more than 20 years of experience as an executive director of yeshiva day schools, 16 of them at the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy/Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, where he oversaw the acquisition of a brand new, state-of-the-art campus. Grad’s expertise in finance, HR, technology, transportation, security and facilities management makes him an ideal fit for this position. He brings a wide breadth of experience working in a variety of school settings, and TABC is confident that he will be a wonderful asset to its administrative team. The dedicated search committee carefully reviewed resumes and met with candidates over the past several weeks, and are excited to officially welcome Grad aboard, starting May 17, to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
Outgoing executive director Teri Normand was thanked for her years of service. Normand diligently oversaw the transition to TABC’s new campus, improved and expanded its support team and has put financial, IT and security systems and efficiencies in place that have enabled the school to effectively service its growing community.
