RKYHS students welcomed the Jubilation Choir for a program in conjunction with the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday. Through spoken word and song, the group put the civil rights movement into historical context and brought MLK’s dream to life on the stage.
Established in 1998 through the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), the Jubilation Choir, which performs around the world, has released six albums, earned a Grammy award and was the last choir to perform with music legend Ray Charles.
