This past Shabbat, a group of Yavneh Academy eighth graders joined with Yachad members at the Ahavat Achim shul in Fair Lawn for an uplifting shabbaton. Yavneh eighth graders impressed everyone there with their participation, respect and all-around awesomeness! Whether leading the davening or leining, giving a dvar Torah, cheering and singing, the Yachad members were delighted with the attention and care that our students showed them. After Shabbat, they joined together again for a melava malka with dancing and pizza!
