After much anticipation, the JEC Middle School headed to Westchester Day School to compete in the first ever Talmud Israeli challenge. The Talmud Israeli material presents an idea from each and every daf of Gemara in a simplified format, and students enjoy both the content and the breadth of knowledge this program provides. The 18 boys who attended the competition have been learning Talmud Israeli at voluntary night seder throughout the year. The inter-school competition was a great opportunity to showcase the connection that all of the participants share. The students also celebrated their sense of connection to Torah learning and their accomplishments in learning throughout the year. Everyone walked away from the event inspired to continue learning through Talmud Israeli (and with a great sweatshirt and water bottle)!
