The Yavneh Academy Chesed Team held another event this past week. As the students had just participated in Abilities Day, where the focus was on everyone having abilities as well as disabilities, it was appropriate that the event involve Friendship Circle!

At the event, students assembled craft packages with the theme of Yom Yerushalayim. They decorated bags, made blue and white bracelets and put in various craft projects that were related to Yerushalayim. Personalized letters to Friendship Circle members were also included inside the bags. The bags were delivered to Zeesy Grossbaum and the Yavneh students look forward to seeing photos of the smiling Friendship Circle members working on the crafts.
