Last week, The Moriah early childhood enjoyed a beautiful celebration in honor of Rosh Chodesh Sivan. The children heard a Shavuot themed story, read by Morah Divsha, and then “picked flowers” from “Har Sinai” and created colorful garlands. They then filled their baskets with fruit (to remind them of the bikkurim, first fruits, that were brought to Yerushalayim around Shavuot time). The children are eagerly anticipating Shavuot when the Jewish people received the Torah!
