(Courtesy of Cong. Gottheimer’s office) Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) helped make sandwiches, met with employees, served local customers, and enjoyed a fantastic sandwich at Chickies in Teaneck, as a part of his “Josh on the Job” tour across the Fifth District to promote local businesses.
Chickies is a kosher fast-food restaurant founded here in Northern New Jersey, which now has locations across the country. Gottheimer was joined by Robert Mozorosky, owner of Chickies, and restaurant staff, where they discussed how federal small business relief has helped them recover from the pandemic and how Chickies has been able to give back to the North Jersey community.
“It was great to learn the ropes at Chickies in Teaneck, and speak with business owner Robert Mozorosky and their staff about small business relief and how they have expanded their business model during COVID,” said Gottheimer. “In Congress, I will keep fighting to lower taxes, to invest in our infrastructure, and cut red tape so that New Jersey businesses like Chickies can continue to create jobs and serve our diverse community here in North Jersey.”
