I just came home from the outstanding, heartfelt, uniting and exuberant community-wide Yom Ha’Atzmaut program at Votee Park. Kol hakavod and an enthusiastic thank you to all those who were involved in organizing the event,from the rabbis to the lay leadership, to the volunteers and to all the local law enforcement who came together to give us such a precious, priceless gift on Wednesday evening. The event began by commemorating our righteous heroes and, as the sun went down, it ended with song and dance in gratitude to our homeland. Todah rabah to all.
