Earlier this week, Stamford’s Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut third graders became the ultimate judges of literary greatness.
In celebration of World Read-Aloud Day, the BCHA sixth-graders stepped up as authors and treated the third-graders to manuscript readings of their very own “Best Children’s Book In The World.”
This is a capstone experience, as well as a skill-building and life-altering journey in partnership with BCHA Class of ‘02 alum Ben Okon at Younger Me Academy. Bi-Cultural sixth graders used pivotal concepts such as the Scientific Method, Experiment Design, Pareto Principle, Growth Mindset, Science of Generosity, Equity vs. Equality, and more to collaboratively develop whole-life skills that will benefit them in school, work and relationships.
