Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut first-graders completed their Tu B’Shevat mitzvah project. Ten days before Tu B’Shevat, the students built very impressive plastic trees in class and took them home to fill with donations. All donations went to the Jewish National Fund, who used the funds to purchase 13 trees that will be planted in Israel.
