Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies (BCHSJS) students taking part in the Jewish Volunteer Corp year long class visited with residents of the Daughters of Miriam in Clifton this past Sunday for their second visit. The students and seniors shared stories and learned about each other. The students were surprised to learn that many of the seniors lives were very different than theirs. The students will continue to visit with the same residents throughout the school year to build stronger relationships with the seniors and learn their Jewish histories.
