Yom Ha’Atzmaut at BPY was a truly memorable day filled with ruach, learning and celebration! Throughout the day, students engaged in hands-on activities that brought Israel to life—tasting Israeli-style foods, participating in activities associated with different Israeli cities, playing interactive trivia games about Israel’s history and so much more. Each station gave students a unique and meaningful way to connect with Eretz Yisrael and its rich culture. A special thank-you to the incredible PTO for the delicious blue and white cookies—what a thoughtful and festive treat! The celebration continued into the evening with a beautiful daglanut performance. The dedication and hard work of the students and teachers were evident in every choreographed movement, and the pride on their faces said it all. It was incredibly moving to see so many families come out in support—filling the space with energy and love for Israel. It was a night and day to remember, and a true celebration of Am Yisrael, Eretz Yisrael, and Torat Yisrael!
