The children in Gan Chaverim were so excited to hear that the letters Q and U just love spending time together and decided to get married! First, they had to learn about all the different parts of a Jewish wedding. Then the children got ready preparing for this special event. One child suggested writing “Qu” words on paper flowers for the flower girl. We created tissue paper flowers for the bridesmaids bouquets and decorated the wedding aisle with letters Q and U.

Q and U invited all the letters of the alphabet to their wedding and each child was assigned a letter. The children were asked to bring a gift that started with their assigned letter. Each gift was wrapped and the class was given clues as to what was inside. Finally, the big day arrived and all the children in were ready to celebrate Q and U’s wedding.
