(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) The Lubavitcher Rebbe advised that gatherings should be held during Sefira, where speeches on topics related to this time of year would be delivered and discussed. Adhering to this, a Kinus Torah was held at Kollel Levi Yitzchok in Hillside. The topics were varied and fascinating.
The speakers at the Kinus Torah were Rabbi Yechiel Kalmenson, Rabbi Berel Lavner and Chanan Friedman. The crowd listened intently as each speaker explored topics on halacha and chasidus.
Kollel Levi Yitzchok is a project of Bris Avrohom, where men gather on Thursday evenings to sit and learn and enjoy light refreshments.
