Bruriah Ruach Soars on Spirit Day

Bruriah High School’s welcome back to school after Pesach displayed an incredible burst of school spirit with Spirit Day 2025. Spirit Day took the Bruriah ruach to new heights as the building turned into a vibrant display of school pride, with faculty and students decked out in Brurah colors and swag, eager to celebrate being part of the Bruriah family.

The day began with a delicious coffee bar spread to add an extra boost of energy for the action-packed day ahead. Students then gathered in the Ballroom for a fast-paced trivia game about all things Bruriah, with questions on Bruriah history, faculty and fun facts. Students also played an entertaining game of “The Rain Is Falling” in the gym. Spirit Day culminated with the highlight of the day, the annual Faculty/G.O. vs. Students machanayim showdown. After a thrilling match, the student team emerged victorious.

Spirit Day is one of the most anticipated events on the Bruriah calendar. As Director of Student Life Dena Lichtman explained, “It’s a day to celebrate Bruriah—what could be better?” Coming right after Pesach break, Spirit Day was the perfect opportunity for students and staff to reconnect and reignite their Bruriah pride.
