Candy Corner Israel is an on-line kosher gift store with excellent personal service. It was founded in 2010 by Rahel Yaish and Tamar Lustman who both made aliyah the previous year from New York and Silver Spring respectively. They put their heads together and came up with a niche that didn’t yet exist in Israel.

Living far away from those they love, the women wanted to create a way to bridge that distance and make people feel closer to their family, friends and former comforts. It became important for them to design a business that provides a way to send things that people love and are connected to, with a personal touch. And everyone loves candy.

In 2010, they got a phone call from five American families whose friends were making a bat mitzvah in Israel. The families were sad because they could not physically be at the simcha, and were looking for a way to participate from afar. Candy Corner arranged a beautiful gumball flower centerpiece for the kids’ table at the event and everyone enjoyed it. Being able to bring families from far apart closer together felt great, and they knew this was something they wanted to continue doing.

Over time, Candy Corner Israel evolved into a full-service gift business with many varied offerings. Their main business lines include gift baskets for all occasions, such as birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, and hotel welcome baskets. They also create beautiful centerpieces and candy buffets for simchas as well as corporate gifts. Families living in Israel, as well as those coming to make a simcha here, can hire Candy Corner Israel to enhance their event with centerpieces or a candy buffet.

Candy Corner carries a large selection of Israeli and American candy, chocolate, nuts, and dried fruit. They have also partnered with high-end boutique companies in Israel such as Tura Wines, De Karina Chocolatier, Ceremonie Tea, and Sara’s Jam Shop.  Each basket is designed meet its customers’ needs. Over the years, they have accommodated all gluten-free and nut-free requests, as well as numerous personal preferences and kashrut requests. All their products are certified kosher OU/Badatz.

For Purim, Candy Corner has created a unique line of Mishloach Manot. Visitors to their website will see pictures of beautiful arrangements that they can send anywhere in Israel in time for Purim.
