Protect Your Environment With NJ Air Quality

NJ Air Quality, a family-owned and -operated business since 2009, services northern New Jersey and surrounding townships, providing customers with highly trained and licensed duct cleaning professionals. Specializing in HVAC vent and dryer vent cleaning, NJ Air Quality is committed to helping homeowners and businesses achieve cleaner and safer indoor environments.

Owner Marc Silberberg has been doing residential and commercial vent cleaning and repair for over a decade. He recommends clients service their vents twice a year to avoid problems that can arise when neglected.

When air ducts become clogged or dirty they contain all sorts of debris, including dust, allergens, mites and pollen. Often this creates an environment that causes or aggravates allergies and respiratory problems for many people. These issues could be minimized or even eliminated when you have the air ducts in your home cleaned, Silberberg explained.

Most people are unaware of how crucial it is to clean a dryer vent at least annually.

Dryer vents can pose serious fire hazards in what is otherwise a normal home setting. According to Silberberg, about 75 percent of house fires in America are caused by poorly maintained or routed dryer vents. If you are finding a large build-up of lint or your clothing is taking considerably longer to dry, he urges you to have the vent cleaned and avoid potential danger to those living in your home.

Recently Silberberg received a phone call from a client who owns a building that had a fire resulting from clogged dryer vents. When he arrived at the job, the build-up was tremendous. Believing that safety comes first, Silberberg can’t stress enough the importance of proper vent maintenance in both homes and offices.

NJ Air Quality takes customers’ concerns into account with every job. Often there will be complaints about dust and excessive allergies. Silberberg wants customers to feel secure that he will address their needs and always provide a neat, transparent job with no surprises or hidden fees. “We just want to provide a safe and functional environment for our customers,” he explained. NJ Air Quality offers clients an all-inclusive package. If there is a broken vent cover or something in need of repair, they take care of it along with the cleaning.
