Chabad of Englewood will host a unique program billed as the “Festival of the Future” on the last day of Passover, Sunday, April 20, designed to inspire and engage all segments of the Jewish community.
“Every Jewish holiday celebrates an event in our people’s past,” said Rabbi Shmuel Konikov. “But, uniquely, at the Festival of the Future, we look forward to our perfect, redemptive future and the practical things we can do now to make it a reality.”
The Festival of the Future will include a variety of insightful and informative classes, conversations, and engaging activities designed to encourage personal and communal growth. A unique children’s program will ensure that the whole family gets to enjoy the program.
The day’s highlight will come in the late afternoon with the feast of moshiach, a special festive meal and gathering that aims to inspire meaningful conversations, communal bonding, and a deeper discussion of Judaism’s belief in the coming of a Messianic age. Alongside Chabad of Englewood, the program is set to launch simultaneously at hundreds of Chabad community centers worldwide.
Chabad of Englewood invites all members of the Jewish community to participate in the Festival of the Future. To RSVP, email [email protected].
