Chabad of West Orange Invites Community to Hear Shofar on Rosh Hashanah

This year’s High Holidays promise to be a truly unforgettable experience, with beautiful and uplifting services, a fun and engaging children’s program and a sense of community and connection.

“We are committed to creating a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels at home,” says Rabbi Mendy Kasowitz, director of Chabad of West Orange. “Our High Holiday services and programs are designed to inspire, educate and bring joy to people of all ages and backgrounds.”

Highlights of Chabad of West Orange’s High Holiday programming include:

  • Beautiful and uplifting services, led by Cantor Nissan Andrusier and the CWO choir.
  • The powerful sounds of the Shofar!
  • A fun and engaging children’s program, featuring games, crafts and activities.
  • Meaningful and relevant sermons and discussions.
  • Shofar blowing at Degnan Park.
  • Joyful kiddush in the Sukkah!
  • Trip to Crown Heights for Simchas Beis Hashoeva!
  • Dancing with the Torah on Simchas Torah!

All are welcome, regardless of affiliation or background.

– Rosh Hashanah Begins: Wednesday, Oct. 2

– Yom Kippur Begins: Sunday, Oct. 11

– Sukkos Begins: Wednesday, Oct. 16

– Simchas Torah Begins: Wednesday, Oct. 23
