CYM students relived slavery’s hard work in Mitzrayim; they watched over baby Moshe in the basket like Miriam, experienced the 10 Makkos, and miraculously left Mitzrayim with joyful singing and dancing in the split sea! From there, the children visited the CYM matzah bakery where they baked matzah from scratch! The highlight of the week was preparing and running a model Seder. The classes followed all the steps and shared what they knew in the process. The Seder reached a crescendo with a joyful “L’shana Haba” song and dance. It was true nachas to see the children relate to the rich meaning and significance of these precious traditions. Isn’t that what Pesach is all about?
