(Courtesy of The Jewish Home) The Jewish Home Foundation of North Jersey’s 28th Annual Golf, Tennis & Card Outing will be held at the Montammy Golf Club on Monday, June 13. This year’s honoree is Beth Shiffman who is a Jewish Home Foundation board member and has been volunteering with the elders of the Jewish Home Family for nearly 20 years.
Funds raised will support the Jewish Home Family and its member entities – Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Jewish Home Assisted Living, Jewish Home at Home, and Jewish Home Foundation are not-for-profit organizations providing long-term care, sub-acute rehabilitation, elder abuse shelter, outreach programs, and outpatient services for the elderly and their families in Bergen, North Hudson, and Rockland Counties. The Jewish Home Family’s mission is to develop and oversee the very best of care, services, and advice for the elderly and their families at home and in their facilities, now and in the future, consistent with Jewish tradition and values.
The day will start with brunch at 9:45 a.m.. Golf begins with a shotgun start at 11:45 a.m.; round-robin tennis tournament at 1 p.m.; cards (bridge, mahjongg, canasta) at 12:45 p.m.; and cocktails and dinner at 5:30 p.m.. The charge for golf is $625 per person, including brunch and dinner; tennis $350 per person, including brunch and dinner; and card games $180 per person, including brunch and snacks during game time. Dinner only is $200 per person. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $250 and do not require attendance.
