Rabbi Mendy Hurwitz of the Chabad of Yonkers/Greystone welcomed an entire week of festivities celebrating Chanukah, starting with the music of Mr. Shabbos, Keith Leaf’s amazing fire and juggling show, a gelt drop from a cherry picker and free hot latkes and sufganiyot at Yonkers’s Ridge Hill Shopping Center, where Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano braved the cold to ride up in a cherry picker to light the shammash.
