Jewish Home Foundation’s Golf, Tennis and Card Outing set for May 23

The Jewish Home Foundation of North Jersey’s 22nd Annual Golf, Tennis and Card Outing will be held on Monday, May 23 at the Montammy Golf Club, 7 Montammy Dr., Alpine, NJ. The day will begin with a brunch at 9:45 a.m. Golf kicks off with a shotgun start at 11:45 a.m., tennis at 1 p.m., cards and other games at 12:45 p.m. and cocktails and dinner at 5:30 p.m. This year’s event honors JoAnne Hassan and Martin Perlman for their many years of dedication.

An annual event, now in its third decade, the outing is a day-long fundraising event to benefit the programs and services the Jewish Homes provide for the enrichment of the lives of seniors in our community, both in our facilities and in their homes.

Howard Chernin and Warren Feldman are the Outing Co-Chairs, Howard Blatt is the Golf Chair and David Edelberg, Howard Lippman, Susan Penn and Barry Wien are the Tennis Co-Chairs.

Attendees can play golf, tennis, mah jongg, and social and A.C.B.L.-sanctioned bridge. The charge for brunch, dinner and golf is $575, for those 40 and under $350; tennis $350, for those 40 and under $250 and cards and other games $180 (brunch and snacks at game time included). Dinner only is $180.

Companies can sponsor the event or send participants. Personal support can be doubled if a company has a matching gift program.

The Jewish Home Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization responsible for aiding and supporting the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, Jewish Home Assisted Living, Jewish Home at Home and the Gallen Adult Day Health Care Center for the purposes of providing care, programs and services to seniors, the elderly and infirm. It is part of the the Jewish Home Family, whose mission is to develop and oversee the very best of care, services, and advice for the elderly and their families at home and in their facilities, now and in the future, consistent with Jewish tradition and values.
