(Courtesy of Kaplan JCC on the Palisades) In celebration of a new season, the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is offering a special membership promotion to start fall on the right foot—to keep people active, fit and engaged in the community. Dedicated to people of all ages and interests, there are classes and activities for everyone—from swimming, spinning and everything health and fitness to and fun things to do for kids and families.
To launch the new school year, the JCC is inviting individuals, families, youth and seniors to enjoy a free trial week, and if they join by October 31, they receive $150 off membership. If they are referred by a friend who is already a JCC member, both they and their friend will also receive an additional $50 in JCC Cash that can be applied to classes and programs within the JCC.
The JCC is a turn-key wellness center with over 65,000 feet of dedicated wellness space including state-of-the-art, indoor and outdoor health and recreational facilities, two air-conditioned gymnasiums, indoor and outdoor aquatics centers with water play park, Red Cross swim lessons for all ages, over 90 free group exercise classes each week, an indoor running track, two fully equipped high-tech fitness centers, outdoor tennis courts, a youth fitness center for ages 6-12, dedicated barre, cycling and Pilates studios, racquetball courts, family changing rooms, and a full-service luxurious spa. Members can receive consultations with the acupuncture and nutritional professionals from The Graf Center of Integrative Medicine at Englewood Health while at the JCC.
The JCC also serves as a home away from home for the local community. It welcomes all and cultivates the social, intellectual, physical and spiritual well-being of its members and offers outstanding programs that span the gamut of cultural arts; recreation; dance, drama and music; a wide range of programs for seniors; and continuing education. Children’s programming includes an early-childhood playground, three outdoor play areas including an adaptive accessible playground, state-of-the art classrooms with teaching kitchens and summer camps.
The JCC features specialized dance and music studios, a professional theater, a large multi-purpose auditorium, free WiFi wireless services, shomer Shabbat facilities and a delicious dairy cafe under RCBC supervision.
