(Courtesy of Elks Grand Lodge) Ryan Shell of Bergenfield was honored as the Elk Citizen of the Year and was awarded Citizen of the Year from the Elks Grand Lodge for all he did and continues to do for the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was given his award before the captains’ meeting at BVAC with the membership and a group of Bergenfield Elks Lodge #1477.

Shell spoke briefly saying this award is for the entire team.

Tom Boyce, past exalted ruler 2020, in his last order of business as exalted ruler, awarded the prize to Shell.
