(Courtesy of Camp Shalom) Camp Shalom announced that it will be operating for the summer of 2021 in Ben Porat Yosef’s facilities in Paramus, with sessions set to begin on Tuesday, June 22. Camp administrators expressed gratitude for the patience of families as they worked out a space for the upcoming summer. They are extremely thankful to Ben Porat Yosef for partnering with the camp and personally extended a hakarat hatov to Rabbi Saul Zucker, head of school; President Rachel Barber Schwartz; Stacy Goldstein, director of operations; and the entire board of trustees at Ben Porat Yosef. Camp Shalom leaders remain steadfast in their vision that a summer camp experience is a critical element in children’s social development and are hopeful that the camp experience this summer at Ben Porat Yosef will be fruitful.

Work has already begun to tailor the camp to its new location. Plans are being made for, b’ezrat Hashem, installing pools on-site, and administrators have already met with their architect. They are committed to providing an amazing summer experience filled with ruach, swimming, excitement, social interactions with their peers, and lots of fun!
