Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) presented the inaugural Hometown Hero Awards at Holy Name Medical Center to 20 people for their contributions, which he said often go unrecognized. Councilwoman Ora Kornbluth proudly reported that the honorees included three Bergenfield residents: Izzy Infield, a volunteer at both the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Bergenfield Volunteer Fire Department; and Irina Tesoriero and Wendy Loszynski for their work in the Lou Harris Challenger program, a program for children with special needs.
