Purim is packed with fun and food at Daughters of Miriam (DOM) in Clifton. Daughters will be distributing mishloach manot food packages on March 24 during the day to the DOM residents. The gifts have been donated by the Jewish Federation of Passaic-Clifton.

The megillah will be read Motzei Shabbat. On Sunday, March 24, the megillah will be read in the DOM synagogue with services starting at 9 a.m. followed by the megillah reading at 10 and a celebration together with Cong. Shomrei Torah from Fair Lawn.

On Purim day, a professional clown will visit the residents going door-to-door to add to the Purim festivities. Residents’ families are invited throughout the day to visit their loved ones on Purim day.
