The Neil Klatskin Day Camps at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades are now registering for their summer season, offering children, ages 3 to 7, a non-stop summer adventure, where campers enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, make new friends and explore personal interests. Families can sign up for the full eight weeks, or choose from a wide range of options.
NKDC features dynamic, age-appropriate programming including sports, Red Cross instructional and recreational swim, Tae Kwon Do, yoga, art, drama, music, Judaic programming, special events and much more. Plus, NKDC is all-inclusive, providing lunch, snacks, towel service and camp swag, so parents don’t have to think about all those extra details. Camp takes place on a beautiful 21+ acre campus with 3 pools, a sprinkler park, sports facilities, a low ropes course with zip line, indoor rainy-day facilities and more. Children ages 3 and 4 are home based in air-conditioned rooms with head counselors who are certified educators. Registration options include 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 weeks. Children with special needs, ages 5-9, have the opportunity to participate as well.
Camp units include:

Campers entering second grade enjoy unique programming that reflects their developmental needs and abilities, including more challenging opportunities and adventures such as “majoring” in a special discipline for a two-week period, off-site trips and late nights.
START-UP NATION: For native/fluent Hebrew speakers entering kindergarten-second grade
This Israeli summer experience is full of fun, opportunity and unforgettable moments. Campers enjoy a wide range of Hebrew and Israeli cultural activities with native Hebrew-speaking counselors and specialists that include music, scout activities, cooking and more.
