Empire Kosher Facility Produces at Full Capacity for Passover

Empire Kosher donates thousands of pounds of product to OU kosher food pantries.

(Courtesy of Empire Kosher) Empire Kosher Poultry announced today that its processing facility is running at full capacity ahead of the Passover holiday. While the current COVID-19 situation is affecting communities and businesses across the country, food production is an essential business and is continuing full force.

Empire Kosher has heightened its already high level of safety and implemented various further practices to ensure the safety of employees and products. Although there have been some local issues of product availability, consumers should be aware that the supply chain is functional, and product is shipping to all distributors and retailers.

As the Passover holiday approaches, Empire Kosher has continued its practice of supporting the less fortunate and is partnering with the Orthodox Union’s Kosher Food Pantry project to bring chicken to the holiday tables of those in need.

“For over 80 years, the mission of Empire Kosher has been to serve the community, and this includes the most vulnerable amongst us,” said Jeff Brown, CEO of Empire Kosher. Brown continued, “We are honored to be partnering with the OU at this critical time and are donating thousands of pounds of chicken to their Kosher Food Bank for Passover.”

Empire Kosher is thankful to their committed employees who take pride in their work and recognize the need to feed families across America at this crucial time.
