Frankowitz Orthodontics Cavity Crushers Wins TBO Middle Girls Championship

(TBO) Congratulations to the Frankowitz Orthodontics Cavity Crushers on their championship victory over the Mathnasium Aces in the TBO middle girls championship game Tuesday evening. The Crushers capped a remarkable one-loss season with a 6-2 win.

All the players on the team contributed to a strong playoff run. Noa Horn found ways to get on base more consistently, especially during the final stretch. Brielle Shor took over as the team’s go-to catcher behind the plate. Ahuva Bluman was a clutch utility player displaying her skills in multiple positions. Daniella Bernstein saved her very best hits for the playoffs, driving in a handful of RBIs to break open the games. Jaime Kaye-Falik made key stops in the field representing remarkable improvement throughout the season. Miki Kahn showed off her swing that would make even Babe Ruth jealous. Nava Moskowitz played a great second base and came through with a power hit at a critical point in the championship. Lauren Weisberg made stretch catches at first base and fielded a grounder to end the game. Mia Weisberg had huge defensive plays thwarting the Mathnasium Aces’ comeback attempt. Tehila Teitelman added a bit of zest to her pitches during the playoffs, helping to minimize the impact of the opposing hitters. And Maayan Teitelman kept her cool under pressure and made the defensive play to end the fifth inning with bases loaded, leaving the Aces players stranded. Congratulations as well to coaches Avi Weisberg and Howie Teitelman.

The team was grateful to all the parents and family members who came to root for the girls, even during the inclement weather games. Despite the rain, the Crushers managed to squeeze in 15 games and nine practices this season. Thank you as well to sponsor Frankowitz Orthodontics!
