The RYNJ students of sixth grade were privileged to participate in a Friendship Circle volunteer training session. Dr. Naphtali (RYNJ graduate) and Leah Rosenberg presented an informative, hands-on program that was designed to help the students gain a greater sensitivity and a better understanding of the strengths and challenges of the Friendship Circle children whom they might be working with. The engaged, motivated students were very well behaved and really enjoyed the program. Many expressed interest in becoming volunteers and devoting their time to doing chesed in a fun and meaningful way.
