Dotan Rand ‘15, who is currently living in Israel and receiving training for serving in the IDF, spoke to seniors in Dr. Tuvia Book’s class yesterday about her change of heart and change of plans—from being set on attending a U.S. college to entering the Israeli army.

Dotan is on a visit home to her family in Fair Lawn, NJ, before returning to Israel and being officially drafted into the IDF in late December, when she will become an artillery instructor. Frisch wished Dotan much success and safety as she serves Israel in this important way.
