Heichal HaTorah Launches Research Fellowship Program

This past week, participants of the new Heichal Research Fellowship program had the opportunity to meet with English literature instructor Herbert Plummer. Plummer introduced the students to Peter Elbow’s free writing strategy designed to enable writers to document their thoughts unconstrained by traditional writing guidelines. The students enjoyed techniques that enabled them to brainstorm and share thoughts on paper without being bound by form or style of writing and which enhanced their writer toolbox. This lecture was part of a series of ongoing research workshops offered to select students in the Research Fellowship Program initiated under the leadership of Deniera Goldenberg, Heichal science chair. The Research Fellowship Program is a two-year independent honors program that culminates in an in-depth analysis of a particular topic chosen by the student. Heichal looks forward to continued success among its new fellows as they embark on their two-year research journey.
