IBECC Sunflower Class Explores Etrogim

Students have been comparing and contrasting lemons and etrogim. They cut them open to take a good look at both fruits and observed that the etrog had so many more seeds than the lemon. The children also observed that the etrog’s skin is much thicker than the lemon’s. When they tried to squeeze the etrog for juice, they could not squeeze it at all, but the lemon squeezed easily. The last thing they noticed is that the etrog looked whiter than the lemon.
