On Sunday, March 30, the JCC Mid-Westchester—in partnership with PJ Library and the Matzah Factory—hosted Pesach Palooza. JCCMW welcomed 25 families to celebrate Passover and learn about the traditions and customs of the holiday. The afternoon began with matzah making. Drew Isserlis Kramer then led the group in an original, kid-friendly seder. Each participant created a jar of plagues and the afternoon concluded with kosher pizza.

Pesach Palooza was a joyful and meaningful gathering that provided opportunities for families to come together to “celebrate” Passover in a fun and educational way. The event offered hands-on experiences helping both children and adults connect more deeply with the rituals and story of the holiday. Celebrating Passover during these times holds deep significance, as it serves as a powerful reminder of resilience, freedom and hope in the face of adversity.
