One of the many club opportunities at JEC is the ever popular cooking club, run by Amy Leykin. Always a fan-favorite, this club allows students to create and be creative with a number of recipes throughout the year. In just 45 minutes, the 28 boys followed a great recipe, baked the garlic breads and got to enjoy the delicious meals. “I have so much fun during cooking,” said senior Mordechai Moskowitz. “I get to learn how to make all these great dishes and I get to share them with my friends too.”

“My goal is to get these boys in the habit of taking care of themselves, while having fun in the process,” said Leykin. “When they’re living in the dorms, they’ll thank me for it.”
