Famed Jewish American composer and pianist George Gershwin came to life last week for students in the JEC lower school during “Meet the Musician,” a one hour dramatic presentation during which the highly skilled actor took on the role of Gershwin and ran through a narrative of his life.

Accompanied by singing and music, students and faculty alike were delighted and enthusiastically clapped and swayed along.
