JKHA Celebrates Shushan Purim

Shushan Purim was a busy day at the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy and Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School! The student’s schedule was jam-packed with fun and entertainment. JKHA lower school students participated in a musical parade through the high school, had their faces painted, played Purim-themed games, and attended a carnival with rides and games run by the JKHA middle school students. The students also continued to dedicate their learning during the month of Adar to raise money for Chai Lifeline.

The JKHA middle school also celebrated Shushan Purim by playing board games, dress-up games, running the carnival, and watching an educational (and fun!) video about Purim.

If you stepped into the halls of RKYHS, you could feel the Purim spirit as the students performed in a talent show, entered a costume contest for both students and faculty, and competed in a tzedakah marathon in which the students broke into teams and participated in activities to raise money for various organizations, including Yad Eliezer, FIDF, Chai Lifeline and the Friendship Circle. Overall, it was a great day at the JKHA/RKYHS!
