Parents and grandparents in the JKHA middle school came together with their children and grandchildren for a morning of communal learnin. After enjoying breakfast together, everyone assembled in the high school’s multi-purpose room to accommodate the large group. After an inspiring introduction from Rabbi Yosef Sharbat, the families participated in a guided discussion about Arvut (mutual responsibility) facilitated by Rabbi Sharbat. The learning centered around the themes and topics of how everyone all has personal, communal and societal responsibilities for a fellow person’s well being and focused on extending empathy, compassion and caring toward one’s fellow man.
