Sixth grade students at JKHA have conceptualized and created pinball games that incorporate a set of obstacles, a launcher and two inclined planes (lever and inclined planes). The students were so thrilled to apply the concepts of kinetic and potential energy, while they thoroughly enjoyed seeing Newton’s three laws of motion in action! They felt very proud to showcase their project to the first and second graders. The lower school students enjoyed playing the games as they experienced how science and engineering could be fun.
