On May 5 at Ramaz, the defending Boys Varsity Soccer champions and the Kushner Cobras were both battling for a playoff spot. The Ramaz Rams were riding high after a dominant 15—1 win against MTA. This matchup was intense from the start, with both teams going goal for goal in a tightly contested game. The Cobras, coming off a tough loss to Frisch, were determined to bounce back. The game was so evenly matched it went into overtime. Both coaches did a fantastic job guiding their teams through the pressure, and the goalies on both sides played their hearts out. In the end, the Cobras edged out Ramaz with a thrilling 11—10 overtime victory. James Orbach (2025) sealed the win with the game-winning goal and finished with a hat trick. David Reuvan (2025) contributed an impressive four goals, and Erez East (2027) added two more. With this hard-fought win, the Cobras secured their spot in the playoffs. Lastly, none of this would be possible without the help of their coach, Logan Singman.
