Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

When you step into tiny tots at the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery, you see what might look like chaos but it’s actually learning through play. In the block lab, blocks on the floor may look like a pile of mess but that is the tower that the children built by stacking large red blocks at the base and then smaller yellow blocks on top before knocking it down to hear what sounds it makes as it crashes to the ground. The children learned colors and stacking just by building a tower. In the music area, noises echo through the room as children shake maracas and bells, beat tambourines, tap with sticks, flip rainmakers up and down, clap hands and stomp their feet. This might sound like children just making noise, but they’re learning what instruments make loud and soft noise and moving their bodies. Tiny tots learn through play and it’s always an amazing day!
