Whether one agrees or vehemently disagrees with Charles Selengut’s pessimistic views on the current status of American Jewry, it behooves myopic letter writers who challenge opinion essays to at least furnish their arguments, not by espousing “fake-news” and biased narratives of Chris Cuomo and Jake Tapper, but with facts. How many times are we going to hear about the association of Trump with the neo-Nazis (who were not slated to be part of the original protest in Charlottesville) who chanted “The Jews will not replace us.”? If a nanosecond was taken to read the actual transcripts of Trump’s speech that day, the letter writer would know that the “fair people” was not about them.

Earl Sandor poorly argues his point by crying: Well what about the Republicans? Well what about them! He states, “For years, we had neo-Nazis Steve King (R-Iowa) who was repeatedly endorsed by Republicans…” Fair enough, but the truth be told, shortly before the 2018 election, the National Republican Congressional Committee withdrew funding for King’s reelection campaign and its chairman, Steve Stivers, and condemned King’s conduct, although Iowa’s Republican senators and governor continued to endorse him. King was reelected, but after a January 2019 interview in which he questioned the negative connotations of the terms “white nationalist” and “white supremacy,” he was widely condemned by both parties, the media and public figures, and the Republican Steering Committee removed him from all House committee assignments.

Sandor also includes Greene (R-Ga) by her statement, “Rothschild lasers are the cause of wildfires in the West.” The House of Representatives voted to remove Greene from all committee roles on February 4, 2021, in response to her incendiary statements and endorsements of political violence. Eleven Republicans joined the unanimous Democrats in the vote.

The bottom line is this: At least the Republican Party took measures to censure Republican crooks whilst the Democratic Party failed (and fails) to censure the current face of the party, known as the “Squad.”

The “ex-POTUS subverting Torah values,” the “insurrection” of MAGA “terrorists” (led by a shirtless loon with horns?), an un-peaceful transfer of power? Talk about the “Big Lie”!
